Give me that Giraffe!

David and I kept trying to get Jax to scoot for the camera. We tried SEVERAL times and finally got a good shot of a little scooting once we offered him his Giraffe. :)




Jax is also sitting up like a champ now. Here is a little clip of him sitting (a little slouchy) and telling us about life. :)

Seriously, the best sound ever...

Well, Jax had his 6 month appointment today. He's 15 pounds 9 ounces...a little smaller than normal because of last weeks stomach bug. He's 24.5 inches long. He's smaller than average, but no worries on our end. we will just enjoy our little baby a while longer.

Tonight David decided it was time to give Chili a bath (thank goodness!). After his bath, he likes to roll around on a towel to dry off. Jax thought this was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. Here is a video of it. It's a little grainy, but you can hear just fine...and I'm sure you'll agree that that is the best sound on Earth!!

6 months old!!!

Jax is 6 months old today. I can't believe it. He is growing so fast. He is so smart and so curious. He wants to play with or eat everything. Today he is very serious and seems to constantly have his tongue out. I think it's his attempt to feel his gums as I'm sure there are some teeth down there somewhere trying to breakthrough to the other side.

He is so close to sitting up alone, crawling and then being unstoppable. He says Hey or Hi a lot now. I know he doesn't mean it like we would but it's so cute anyway.

We took some pictures today to mark Jax's 6 month birthday and here is one of the cutest ones. I will post more when they are ready in the next day or so.

New Video

We finally got our new flip video camera and took some cute videos of Jax today. He is so dang cute! Look at those blue eyes!!! :) And he is so close to being a crawler. Just has to figure it all out and he'll be unstoppable!

Holiday Overview

We had a busy last couple of weeks and TONS of pictures to share as a result, so make sure to scroll all the way down so you don't miss anything :). I will try to share as many as I can now. I also have some video and will try to upload one or two of those soon as well.

We started off by doing a little pre-Christmas present opening here at home. Jax loves the paper. haaha! Also...There is one picture of Chili with the choice he had to make between his gifts. Tough!!

Then we went to my mom's for a few days to have early Christmas with them.

Then off to Ohio to see David's side of the family. We did Christmas and Jax got to play in the snow for the first time!! Some of these are just silly pictures, but too cute not to share :)
