Jax's first concert

Jax's school did their Christmas concert today. It was so cute. We were a little nervous about how Jax would do. He loves to be the center of attention, but on his terms, when he is ready. So we sat in the middle where he wouldn't see us. And it worked until David took Cooper to stand in the back. Then Jax spotted "Daddy!" He tried to come down then, but his teacher stopped him and he was ok...but on the look out.

FINALLY we got a short video of him singing with everyone else. He's so cute :) Here you go...

Bathtime Talks

I got some good videos of Jax in the bath tonight. We talked, he sang. SO CUTE!

Ok, Here are the pics we took from our Santa visit... They aren't terrible, but Jax could look a tiny bit more interested in Santa since he IS bringing the presents...don't you think? :)

This weekend

This weekend was pretty fun. Cooper turned 3 months old. I can't believe it!! He celebrated by laughing for the first time. I love it. He's such a good, happy baby. :) He sleeps so great...Usually somewhere between 7 and 9 hours, eats, and sleeps for at least 3 more :) YAY!! Jackson is really warming up to him. He asks to kiss him a lot. And when Cooper cries Jax will tell him it's ok, don't cry. So very sweet.

On Saturday I got to hang out with my girls and we got a bracelet making class from Danielle's awesome mommy. Look at what I did. I LOVE IT!!!

Today we went to church - Awesome service - then we took the boys to see Santa. I will post pics in a separate post once David gets them edited. Then we were able to get a little video of Cooper laughing a little. I hope you enjoy and will be back soon with Santa pics!!

It's almost halloween...time to start thinking about holiday cards, right? :) At least so we can all get them ordered in time to send them out early!! Soooooo, let's talk cards...

We love that you can order cards that will fit one photo, or several photos. We like to share photos of the boys, so the more the better. We also like holiday neutral cards. We have friends of different religions and we don't want anyone to be put off or offended by what we send out. And we don't want to order a bunch of different types of cards. Wow...

Having two kids is TOUGH!! It's hard to find time to do anything that isn't related to taking care of them. Sorry I haven't updated in so long. Cooper is two months old now. He sleeps pretty good compared to Jax, but still eats 2-3 times per night. So I'm still pretty tired. Bleh. :)

Jax is starting to warm up to Coop lately, but he's still pretty jealous. He has turned into a mamma's boy, and I love it, but of course it's usually when I am holding/feeding Cooper. Not much shock there. So, when Cooper naps, or after David is off work, I try to spend more time with Jax and play with him some. He's so dang cute. He started preschool last week. He loves it and is doing SO well. He goes three days a week from 9-12. We are gonna start letting him stay for lunch on Friday's so I can do more work, so he'll be done at 1pm those days. He loves it and doesn't cry at all. Even the first day in carline, he got out and didn't even say good bye to me. Cute, but sad at the same time. My little boy is growing up so fast! And he's just so smart. I am attaching a couple videos of him...one of him singing his ABC's and then one of him doing a puzzle all by himself. And then one quick video of Cooper. One day I hope to add lots of pictures of these sweet boys...just don't have time before Cooper eats to get it all done today :)

Welcome Cooper!!!

So much has happened since my last post...surprise, surprise :)

Jax turned 2. I can't even believe it. He is growing up so fast. he is so smart and so dang cute!!! He had a sea world party and got lots of "Uz Ightyear" (toy story) presents. He loves them all so much. I will try to post some pictures soon. I don't have them with me today, or I'd do it now.

But today I am sitting here with the newest addition to the Josef family laying on me. Cooper Blaise was born yesterday, August 13th, 2010 at 11:45 pm. He was born 3 weeks early and weighed 6 lbs 15 oz. He had a short stint in the NICU for observation for breathing problems, but he's with us now and just perfect. He looks a lot like his brother and daddy. They are so cute, that I am not complaining. Below is a quick video of him and I will try to post some pics of him soon as well.

Memorial Day Weekend, among other things

Well, since I'm such a slacker, I'm hoping to post a bunch of stuff at once. We've been pretty busy these days. Jax is a complete handful but so much fun (most of the time, ha!). He is talking nonstop - at least to family - and is just so dang smart. He knows a couple of colors and can just about count to 5. He just doesn't like to say One. :) Silly boy. He LOVES Little Einstens on the Disney Channel. We watch it a few times a day. He can usually make it through at least 10 minutes now before he gets bored. He loves Cats and Horses the most of all animals, but still loves Cows and Dogs and all the rest as well. He did tell me that snakes and snails were yucky. Yes, they are! He loves bugs and flies. He can't stop talking about them when he sees them. He likes to pick up beetles and point them in the direction he thinks is appropriate and gets upset when they fly away. Sometimes he steps on the bugs. Poor bugs.

He is growing, but still small. But it's understandable since he goes 100 mph ALL.DAY.LONG. He loves to play tee ball and frisbee. He is really pretty good. He can also catch pretty well for a 22 month old as well. I'm gonna add some video and pictures now so you can see what he's been up to...

I can not believe I haven't updated in almost 3 months.

At least I have a good excuse....Morning Sickness!!

Actually all the time sickness :) Jax is going to be a big brother!!! I am currently 13 weeks pregnant with baby Josef #2!! I have been pretty sick and just haven't found the energy to update everyone. I finally feel ok AND have access to the computer, so here goes:

Jax just transitioned to the toddler bed. He figured out how to easily climb out of his crib and although we aren't really ready, it's probably a good time to get him ready for the big bed before the baby gets here.

I have so many pictures to share since Christmas but don't have them ready to upload. Most of you have probably seen them on facebook, but one day, I do plan to put them here too. :)

We are looking forward to warmer weather getting here ASAP!!! Jax loves to be outside, so I see a lot of time at the park in our future :)
