So, Jax figured out something new. We noticed it yesterday and thought we'd video a little of it. You can hear mommy and daddy in the background encouraging him by example, but no one does it quite like our babe does!! :)

V-day and New Pics of Jax

This past weekend was Valentine's Day and we had a great time. David and I met with a friend and her husband and had a wonderful dinner at The Farm in Dalton, GA. Jax stayed with Mammy and Poppa and had a lot of fun with them, and my cousin Jessie and her family. He even slept until 6 the next morning, ate, and went back to sleep until 8.

On Sunday, my cousin, her husband, and son came over after their visit to the aquarium and hung out and took some pics of Jax and then we ate dinner. She and David always talk about new tricks they have learned on their camera or about photoshop. It's always fun to learn new things.

So, she took a few pics of Jax. He was a little fussy (as usual, huh?) so we didn't get too many. She edited a couple before she left and here they are.

Happy Birthday Chili!

Chili turns 9 today. I can't believe it! My baby puppy is growing up :) He is still so young most of the time though. Other than sleeping all day, he's still pretty playful and LOVES when friends come to visit and - of course - he loves PRESENTS!!

He will get his presents tonight and I will try to video it and put it up here later.

Friend or Foe?

I think most of you know this, but Chili is NOT a fan of babies. We have never worried that he'd do anything to Jax, that would mean he'd have to be close to him. He typically runs in the opposite direction as Jax. If I point the baby at him, he turns around and runs off. It's kind of funny really.

Well yesterday Jax and I were throwing the toy for Chili - which of course had Jax cracking up again. Then I put Jax on his play mat while talking to Mammy and caught this on video. I think it's pretty dang funny...

This one is of one of his toys from Christmas. We brought it out yesterday and he loves it. :)

This one is of him just talking and playing. He's really very smart.

This last one is of him eating his play mat. I guess I don't feed him enough, huh? :)
